PHOTOS: How Rivers Police Abuse Lawmakers For The Second Day In A Row

Nigeria Police Force, led by Police Area Commander Ahmed Garba, prevented Rivers state lawmakers from accessing the House of Assembly to carry out the business of passing the Rivers State budget.
Friday, December 13th, marked the second day of total clampdown on majority of lawmakers loyal to the governor of Rivers State, Rotimi Amaechi while protecting a few lawmakers led by Evans Bipi a cousin of the first lady, Patience Jonathan.
When plastic chairs were brought for the lawmakers to sit outside the Assembly complex, the police refused to allow the lawmakers sit on the chairs. This infuriated the lawmakers who then proceeded to sit on the floor of the road (Moscow road) leading into the Assembly. While sitting on the road, the legislators sang solidarity and praise and worship songs to God.
